Types of Schools & Opportunities
We assist with placements at various levels of education, each offering unique opportunities for basketball players. Hereโs a breakdown of the types of schools you can be placed at.
U.S. high schools typically cover grades 9 to 12, with students categorized as Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior. While public schools are tuition-free, we recommend private
schools that offer boarding or host-family arrangements. These schools often have seasonal athletic programs lasting 3-5 months.
Prep schools (Preparatory Academies) offer an immersive academic and athletic experience. These schools accept students in grades 9-12 and Postgraduates (13th Grade). The Post Grad program gives athletes an additional year to hone their skills and gain greater exposure to college scouts by competing in rigorous travel schedules. Prep schools provide boarding, daily meals, and transport.
The U.S. is home to over 7,000 colleges and universities, offering both 4-year undergraduate and 2-year associate degree programs. Student-athletes benefit from athletic scholarships that cover tuition, and often travel and accommodation expenses. This unique combination of academics and sports can offer transformative opportunities both on and off the court.
The Placement Process
Our comprehensive process is designed to make your journey toward a scholarship seamless and efficient. Hereโs what you can expect when you work with us.

Online Application & Initial Interview
Complete our online application form, and within 48 hours, our team will contact you for an initial conference call to understand your goals and eligibility.

Document Submission
You will need to submit essential documentation including your highlight video, academic transcripts, SAT/TOEFL/other exam results, and personal achievements. This helps us assess your eligibility and present you to the best possible schools.

Signing the Dlang Agreement
Once you sign the Dlang agreement, we officially begin presenting you to relevant coaches and schools. From here, we work on securing offers and matching you with the best fit academically and athletically.

Offers & Application Process
As schools express interest, you will begin receiving scholarship offers. Weโll guide you through the application process, ensuring you meet all requirements and deadlines.

Signing the I-20
After being accepted, the I-20 form is issued by the school, confirming your official enrollment.

USA Visa & Departure
The final step is applying for a USA student visa. Once approved, youโre ready to make your way to your new school!
Key Requirements for Successful Placement
To be considered for scholarships and placement, it is essential that athletes meet the following requirements.
A professional-quality highlight video is crucial for coaches to assess your skills. It should clearly demonstrate your best plays, including shooting, passing, defense, ball-handling, and other key skills. The video should be engaging, well-edited, and organized into sections that make it easy for coaches to evaluate your strengths.
- TOEFL: Required for international students to demonstrate English proficiency in four key areas: Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing.
- SAT: Required for 4-year university placements, covering Math, Critical Reading, and Writing.
Costs & Scholarships
- Consulting Service Fee: The price for our consulting services ranges between 2,500 CHF โ 3,000 CHF.
- Scholarships: Scholarships may be full or partial, based on athletic and academic performance. Full scholarships are awarded to high-level athletes with strong academic backgrounds.
- $30,000 โ $70,000 (for U.S. schools)
Partial scholarships are available, with the remaining fees depending on your academic and athletic profile. - Average Athlete and Academic Performance: Costs after scholarship: $20,000+
- Mid-Level Athlete and Academic Performance: Costs after scholarship: $10,000 โ $20,000
- Above Average Athlete and Academic Performance: Costs after scholarship: $0 โ $10,000
