Travel, Transportation & Supervision
INCLUDE:
Athletes traveling from Switzerland will depart together as a group on a supervised international flight to Las Vegas, USA. The group will be personally accompanied by Derrick Lang, who ensures full supervision, organization, and athlete support from departure in Switzerland through arrival in the United States.
Upon arrival in Las Vegas, organized airport pickup will be provided, transferring athletes directly to the housing at the Milan Apartment Townhomes.
Throughout the camp, daily transportation is fully arranged between the housing location (875 E Silverado Ranch Blvd) and the training facility (4640 W Sunset Rd), ensuring a smooth and efficient daily routine.
At the conclusion of the camp, athletes will be transported back to the airport and return to Switzerland together under the continued supervision of Derrick Lang, maintaining a safe and structured travel experience from start to finish.
Housing & Athlete Care
INCLUDE:
All athletes are accommodated in the Milan Apartment Townhomes โ modern, fully equipped 3-bedroom units designed to provide a safe, comfortable, and structured living environment.
Each apartment includes a full kitchen, in-unit laundry, and shared living space, creating a professional yet home-like atmosphere throughout the camp.
To ensure the highest level of safety and support, every unit is supervised by an Impact coach who provides daily guidance, structure, and athlete care.
In addition, all meals are prepared daily by a private chef, specifically designed to support athletic performance, recovery, and overall well-being.
Athletes receive a weekly rotating menu with balanced, high-quality meal options suitable for all age groups.
Allergies and dietary requirements can be fully accommodated โ we simply ask that they are communicated in advance.

An avid triathlete and 20-time Ironman finisher, as well as a qualifier for the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii, Joe Abunassar has built one of the most respected careers in basketball performance training.
He began his coaching journey at Indiana University under legendary Hall of Fame coach Bob Knight, contributing to two Big Ten Championships and a Final Four appearance.
Following his early coaching success, Abunassar combined his deep knowledge of basketball with a passion for fitness and nutrition, helping pioneer a new era of integrated performance training in the sport.

Throughout his career, Lang has played a key role in developing and scaling basketball programs in Switzerland, including transforming a single private training facility into a 150+ member club .
Derrick is the Founder and CEO of Swiss Preparatory Sports Academy, established in 2022, where he leads a modern, athlete-centered development model focused on:
- Skill development and basketball IQ
- Strength & conditioning integration
- International exposure and recruitment pathways
As part of this work, Lang also serves as a talent identifier and scout, helping place athletes into elite programs, academies, and educational opportunities across Europe and the United States.
Beyond coaching and operations, he contributes to the basketball community as Official Announcer for the Swiss Basketball Federation (2018โPresent) and former Brand Ambassador for Hammer Sport AG (2018โ2020). He is also a USA Basketball Gold Licensed Coach (2018โPresent), reflecting his commitment to elite coaching standards.

As Director of Operations for NBA Basketball School Switzerland (2022โPresent), Lang oversees national basketball development across Switzerland, including camps, clinics, staff coordination, and athlete experience.

Professional Playing Career (2002โ2017)
Lang built his foundation through a 15-year professional playing career, competing across the USA, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, and Switzerland.
He played for organizations including FC Bayern Munich and competed internationally on the FIBA 3×3 World Tour (2015โ2018), gaining deep experience in global basketball systems and high-performance environments.
